Not in Kansas Anymore
The Little Yarn Shop sells small-batch colorways from our very own indie-dyer kitchen, in addition to the beautiful works of women around the world.
Each skein has natural variations due to the nature of the yarn and the dye process. No two skeins, even in the same colorway, will be identical. These variations add to the beauty and richness of the yarn you're working with! All colorways are created in small batches, so be sure to grab up as many as you think you'll need for your project!
Superwash Sock — 75 superwash merino / 25 nylon — approximately 460 yds / 100 yds
Machine washable on a wool setting ideally using a wool detergent using cold water, or hand wash. Dry flat, do not sun dry or tumble dry. Avoid wringing and twisting.
Our protein fiber colorways use acid dyes to create rich, beautiful shades that are colorfast and lasting. Each skein has been washed and set, but it is still possible for some bleeding to occur, especially in colorways that contain blue. Every skein, even within the same colorway, varies slightly due to the nature of the yarn itself, and the dyeing process.
If you need more than one skein for a project, grab it while you can! Though we will always try our best to recreate the colorways in our shop, there is no telling how close we’ll be able to get.
Superwash merino is machine-friendly in cold water, but your best bet is still to wash by hand, gently, and lay flat to dry. Avoid wringing and twisting.
The Merino in these yarns is sourced from South America, in areas where mulesing is not practiced.
Price is per skein.
