100g knitted blanks perfect for self patterning yarns or gradient pattern. The blank is double stranded so once dyed it will produce 2 identical 50g skeins of yarn. The blanks are knitted in our Superwash Sock yarn at 437 yards per 100g. Made with 75% Superwashed Merino wool and 25% Nylon, the merino fibers have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore will not ‘felt’ when dyed or washed. The merino is combined with a smaller percentage of nylon giving the knitted fabric extra durability and strength making it harder wearing. Specifically made to be smooth, not scratchy on the skin. The yarn is perfect for socks but can equally can be knitted into scarves, shawls or even baby garments which will feel soft next to the skin due to the fine micron merino used.
